Hoeffmeir Publishing is a non-commercial [nothing bought, sold, nor traded] venture in which artistic expression is pursued without the normally necessary hindrance of economic pursuit. The purpose of this electronic publishing endeavor is to place before the public authors and works we feel are of artistic value, though they have been overlooked or forgotten by the mass market and thus can offer little hope of returning the more substantial investment of real capital needed to publish them by other means. While some works here represented have attempted and failed at such endeavors and some have not, all are copyrighted works and are represented with the authors' and/or their estates' permission and their artistic integrity foremost in our consideration. The obligation of consideration is passed on to the reader. Copyrights are, in no sense, relinquished. Permission has been obtained to represent and reproduce these works in the forms herein found. While excerpts, copies and quotes need only be properly credited, plagiarism and misrepresentation will not be tolerated. At Hoeffmeir Publishing Compay we are a primarily personal page of poetry, fiction, non-fiction and graphic artwork.

Welcome to The Democracy Defined Campaign Website . Campaign to restore Jurors' duty to judge on the justice of the law. Campaign philosophy endorsed by academics, attorneys, judges and members worldwide. Join for free! Posters, pamphlets and essays. You can join this Campaign for Universal Equal Justice and Liberty for free. Also, there are free essays, pamphlets and posters to download, print out and distribute. The profound ramifications of the not-for-profit DEMOCRACY DEFINED CAMPAIGN are explained on the website pages indexed below. This Campaign provides citizens with the unique, timeless formulation by which the civilised, compassionate society is created, constituted and governed, sine qua non. The information reveals that the society which ignores or is in ignorance of these facts suffers inevitably from the dolorous barbarity of despotism. Illegal arbitrary dispossession of homes, fabricated financial crises, unwarranted taxation, unemployment, and intolerable government molestation in the lives of innocent men and women, are all addressed herein. The catastrophic criminal inhumanity wrought upon whole populations by that miniscule number of men and women responsible for, and responsible for permitting (abetting) the Crime of Usury (money-lending-at-interest); fraudulent Fractional Reserve Lending; the issuance of national (and international) currency and credit at interest by non-national, de facto privately-owned "Central" Banks; the ubiquitous global crimes and lethality of International Monetary organisations and World Bank are confronted.

Welcome to the original, deadliest Irish Slang site, filling up - even as you read! - with colourful Slang in Ireland and Irish English, or Hiberno English as the academics call it; copied without credit by gurriers all over the web, but updated here regularly. While I'm the first to admit that it's by no means complete; fair's fair...it's a start. C'mere & listen to me. Some people, far cleverer than me, say "Sure some of these words are by no means unique to the Irish". Well, while it's not disputed in my house about where whiskey originated or who invented the submarine, these words are used Everyday in Ireland. That's the key, good people. What are ya waiting for? Don't be a gobshite. Up the yard! Sure, it's been going for over 8 years now, with a fair amount of help from some of you lot. Yez know who yez are. Thanks. The rest of yez... don't be emailing me all sorts of nonsense about plays you're working on, books you're reading and all sorts of shite I haven't time for. The bulk of the answers to questions I get asked are answered at good ol' Google after a simple search. Oh yeah, if you're looking for Irish language help - yep, the same as what some of yez call Gaelic, you won't find it here BUT your first stop should be Irish Dictionary. Yer man has all sorts of pointers from choosing a dictionary to YouTube Irish-style to social networking in Irish. Isn't the internet a grand thing, altogether? Still need help? Want to know what a word means? Found something in a Frank O'Connor, Roddy Doyle et al book. Check out my fekkin' FAQ or my tips before e-mailing me or visit links to friends who've helped or linked to this site. These links contain some of the most comprehensive Irish resources on the Web. Drop us an e-mail with comments, additions, and yeah, corrections - but no silly questions!
I began writing poetry seriously in the early 1980s, mostly to celebrate family occasions. While on sabbatical during the academic year 1997-98, I decided to expand the feelings and experiences on which my poetry is based by starting a Web site that would invite visitors to request poems. The inspiration for many of the poems comes from those requests. Eventually, there were so many requests that it became impossible even to open all of the email, and so I had to delete the invitation from the site. But the impetus for many of the poems on the site remains my desire to be a voice for those who want their thoughts and feelings turned into poetry. The absolute best Poems for Free . Poems, many written for a variety of holidays and occasions, that can be used free for any personal or non-commercial purpose. There are over 2000 poems here, many of which are holiday poems or poems for special occasions, free to use for any personal or non-commercial purpose. Please also feel free to modify poems (such as changing names, hair or eye color, sex or number) to suit your needs. All poems: copyright by Nicholas Gordon. Personal and non-commercial use of my poetry is free, and you may freely distribute my poetry, post my poems on a web site, publish my poems in a newsletter, etc. If you intend to sell my poetry as, for example, gift books, cards, framed or unframed posters, etc., you must let me know. I retain the copyright on all of my poetry and all residual rights. Plagiarizing my poetry is strictly forbidden. If you use or distribute my poems, you must identify me as the author. The formation of SADCC was the culmination of a long process of consultations by the leaders of the then only majority ruled countries of Southern Africa, thus Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Swaziland, United Republic of Tanzania and Zambia, working together as Frontline States. In May 1979 consultations were held between Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Ministers responsible for Economic Development in Gaborone, Botswana. Subsequently a meeting was held in Arusha, Tanzania in July 1979 which led to the establishment of SADCC. The SADC Mission is to promote sustainable and equitable economic growth and socio-economic development through efficient productive systems, deeper co-operation and integration, good governance, and durable peace and security, so that the region emerges as a competitive and effective player in international relations and the world economy. The Southern African Development Community (SADC) has been in existence since 1980, when it was formed as a loose alliance of nine majority-ruled States in Southern Africa known as the Southern African Development Coordination Conference (SADCC), with the main aim of coordinating development projects in order to lessen economic dependence on then apartheid South Africa.
These Phoenix compositions originate from instinctive impulse, and without over endeavoring to convert such dim light to bright, there are voices, but only one character. There is a journey, but no story. There is truth, but no formal proof. There is art, but unlike workshop garden flowers..more like wild flowers. These soliloquies are for the simple pleasure of reading, to feel the sensation, feelings against gradients of thought..how ever much the reader upon a journey herein, may be prose'd to thought or drawn to feeling, if thought and feeling be the pleasure. The rose...love, beauty. The dull aches, celibate pain. In love, hopelessly lost under the spell of illusion, in the beginning, in the darkness, a spirit awakens in search of the nameless. And once named, the mortal assumes overlord to the immortal, light turned inward becomes lethal. And so, it happened. In the fervid endeavor to capture with words the fragrance, majesty, and beauty of the rose, I died...from its intimacy with nature, labors of love, and enchantments of romance. In life, we journey forth, we course like a river, but only with remembrance of its beginning shall one proceed unlost. Only with remembrance of the original peace can one journey forth, fearless of death and transfiguration. Fastened to the crucifix of her deep, he was also assured by the part of her that was free. Her freedom, inspiring the love that ruled his mind, suspended man..dark woman..they were bound by dark love with roots randomly arrayed, seeking nourishment in the nights of their affections. And they were carried freely, and their love beginning in dark union had cast its spell, when all familiar resolves readied themselves for the consuming fires, when the boundary between them dissolved, and with new boundary raised, and new'found freedom praised, in the night of their solitudes, they see what, and how much was exchanged.
This year the theme for Pride London is Come Out and Play, and we'll be updating you more on that precise meaning in the coming weeks, so keep checking back for regular updates! But with that as our title you can expect our annual LGBT Pride Parade to be a cavalcade of colour and fun through the streets of London. As usual will set off from Baker Street at 1pm and proceed down Oxford Street and Regent Street taking in some of the major sites of London as we swing round through Piccadilly to Trafalgar Square. Pride London was founded in March 2004, and was granted charitable status in July of that year. In its first year, Pride London attracted a little over 30,000 people to central London for a parade and campaign rally in Trafalgar Square. From this small beginning, Pride London has grown at a staggering rate into becoming one of the United Kingdom?s largest events, and the largest LGBT event that the United Kingdom has ever seen. In October 2008, Pride London applied to InterPride for WorldPride status. In a hotly contested competition with Stockholm Pride, Pride London won the bid process, and was awarded WorldPride status, with the WorldPride event scheduled for 2012. In 2009, Pride London grew once again, with over 1,000,000 people attending the event as participants or spectators. Pride London also re-launched its arts festival, and had over 80 events running in the two weeks prior to the main day. Highlights included a party-political debate with senior MPs from all parties attending, a twinning with the National Portrait Gallery for their Gay Icons exhibition, and a series of comedy events at the E4 Udderbelly on the South Bank. Pride London also announced its twinning with Outburst (UK), a national charitable organization that focuses on culture, education and performances, including the annual black LGBT Pride festival.
The initial realm is professional services, and this is the broad realm of immediately deployable skills for remuneration in the legal tender of the kingdom. (I've never been too devoted a subject of "the kingdom," and will accept gold, Liberty Dollars, or a well-maintained tractor. Just kidding about the tractor.) If you want to know what I can do for you practically?virtually all my distinctly worthwhile services lie in writing and editing?please click on that tab over on the left that says "Professional Services". Second, as a liberty-loving, cause-oriented dude since basically kindergarten, my political life?aka fighting-for-freedom life?is as important to me as breathing. In late 2006 I created my own political opinion and review Website called the Coffee Coaster. Virtually, all my work in the cause is documented in one form or another through my writings there... along with the work of some fine guest columnists. I typically write a column per week, accompanied by a movie review and, less frequently, a topical book review. The personal area of the site I haven't yet developed so much, but feel it will become increasingly important in the next decade. The Coffee Coaster is stimulating opinion and Web commentary for a new world of reason, love, liberty, and effective immortality for real individual human persons and conceptually conscious life forms everywhere in the galaxy... with a common touch.

On June 5, 1898, Aguinaldo issued a decree setting aside June 12 as the day for the proclamation of Philippine independence. At the same time, he commissioned Julian Felipe, a composer from Cavite, to prepare a composition which would be played during the independence ceremonies. On June 11, Felipe showed Aguinaldo the draft of his musical composition, which was entitled Marcha Filipina Magdalo. Aguinaldo and the other revolutionary leaders, upon hearing the composition played on the piano, adopted it as the official march of the Philippines. Aguinaldo then requested Felipe to teach the music to the members of the band of San Francisco de Malabon so it could be played the next day. Felipe changed the title of the march to Marcha Nacional Filipina. For more than a year, the anthem remained without words. Towards the end of August 1899, a young poet-soldier named Jose Palma(younger brother of Dr. Rafael Palma) wrote the poem entitled Filipinas. This poem expressed in elegant Spanish verses the ardent patriotism and fighting spirit of the Filipino people. It became the words of the anthem. At last the national anthem was complete -- with music and words.
Imagine you are sitting on a low stone bench, in a peaceful Oriental garden, next to a pond. You look down and see flashes of bright red, silver, black, creamy white, and golden yellow gliding under the water. A school of koi inhabits the pond. Known as "living jewels," koi have been adorning garden ponds for over two thousand years. Also known as brocaded carp or Nishikigoi, they have been bred for beautiful colors that are most effectively appreciated from above (as in a pond setting) and for their personalities. They can be trained to feed from the hand and to do tricks. They are family pets that have been known to live in some Japanese ancestral ponds for generations. Koi are not goldfish. Actually, they are a variety of carp, selectively bred to enhance a color mutation that developed several hundred years ago from a standard black or gray fish. They are a symbol of strength and masculinity in China and Japan. Know-Your-Candidates.com introduces the national candidates and local candidates from all the provinces, towns and cities. In previous elections, voters trooped to 250,000 precincts throughout the country. For the May 2010 elections, these have been grouped into 80,000 clusters of not more than 1,000 voters per cluster. Your old precincts may have been renumbered! If you applied for registration before December 2009, you can check your precinct at the Comelec Precinct Finder. Know Your Candidates - Who will you vote for in the Philippine elections? How Will The Votes Be Counted? At the end of the Voting Day, the Board of Election Inspectors (BEIs) will close the elections by accessing the Administrative Menu on the PCOS. Only upon closing the elections can the PCOS start counting the votes. Unlike in the manual process, counting by the PCOS process happens instantly. The PCOS then prints 8 copies of ER together with a statistic report and an audit log. How Will The Election Returns Be Transmitted? The BEI then connects the Transmission device to the PCOS via the Ethernet port. The Automated Counting Machines is only ?connected? once at the end of the voting day, and then disconnected after transmission. The transmission process takes less than 2 minutes. As in the manual process, the results from the precincts will be transmitted to the Municipal Canvassing Server / Station. The municipal canvassing server canvasses all the results from the precincts under its jurisdiction. Once all the results are canvassed, the MBOC (Municipal Board of Canvassers) can generate and print out the Municipal Certificate of Canvass as well as the Statement of Votes. This process is repeated, transmitting the results and printing the necessary reports in the Provincial and National Canvassing Stations.
