For the sporting fan who enjoys more than just horse racing, Access Athletes is a must see. Player interviews, spotlights and a wealth of information on a wide variety of sports. News and information on thoroughbred horse trainer Sharon Soileau, at  Sharon Soileau  , her stable and the services that she offers. Sharon Soileau is licensed in several states as a racehorse trainer. Born in De Ridder, Louisiana, Sharon has had a lifelong love of all animals, especially horses. She began riding when she was very young, and by the age of twelve, learned to exercise thoroughbreds at a local farm after school. Soon after, she was riding in races at the local "bush" tracks, where she began winning at the ripe old age of fourteen. As soon as she graduated from high school, Sharon pursued her dream of being a jockey. At five foot seven, she was just a bit big and maintaining the proper weight was difficult, so she traded her jockey's license in for a trainer's license in 1979. With a small string of aged horses, she won with the very first one she raced. After traveling from track to track in several states, she obtained her own place, which she named Thunder Run Ranch. It is here that she trains her horses. The ranch has a 15 stall barn, which Sharon designed and built, 3/4 mile training track with a three horse starting gate, round pen, and plans for a swimming pool for the horses. In addition to the horses, Sharon has been studying energy healing and animal communication. In January of 2008 she was certified in Level Two Reiki. She is continuing her studies in these fields and has hopes to soon be certified in animal communication.

Befitting his noble Chinese ancestry as a highly valued, prized companion and palace pet, the Shih Tzu is proud of bearing, has a distinctively arrogant carriage with head well up and tail curved over the back. Although there has always been considerable size variation, the Shih Tzu must be compact, solid, carrying good weight and substance. Even though a toy dog, the Shih Tzu must be subject to the same requirements of soundness and structure prescribed for all breeds, and any deviation from the ideal described in the standard should be penalized to the extent of the deviation. Structural faults common to all breeds are as undesirable in the Shih Tzu as in any other breed, regardless of whether or not such faults are specifically mentioned in the standard.
