Welcome to the Young Mommies Homesite, a support site for young moms and pregnant women in their teens and twenties! We hope you enjoy our message board forums, articles, due date calculator, teen pregnancy stats & stories, tons of freebies, and other helpful resources! The Young Mommies Homesite began as a personal homepage created by a newly-pregnant 17-year-old. She searched the internet for good links and resources to help her in planning for her new arival, but found only limited support for mothers her age. She began to expand her personal homepage to include links to resources on the web for young mothers, soon adding a space for other young moms to add their stories. Our fund-raising efforts are in full swing these days so please consider taking a moment to help support our site! We want to do as much as we possibly can to help other young moms! We have some new options for fund-raising, including a great shopping opportunity for moms doing their holiday gift-buying! From now until the end of the year, visitors and members can place an order through Mabel's Labels and some of the proceeds will go towards supporting the Young Mommies Homesite! Each year the Young Mommies Homesite raises funds to cover our operating costs. Since all of our staff are volunteers, we raise a small amount of money for web hosting costs and members vote about how to use any surplus funds (if any).
